Vaporizing Regulators
Suited for applications requiring positive controlled heat input, the 452 Series regulators are used in sampling systems to vaporize a sample and maintain it in the vapor phase for analysis. These regulators are well suited for applications in chemical and petrochemical plants to vaporize heavy hydrocarbon samples for analysis.
The series is available in either steam or electrically heated models. Steam-heated models have a maximum temperature limit of 500°F (260°C). Electrically heated models are available in 50, 100, or 150 watt models with temperature ranges up to 380°F (194°C). Electrically heated models are explosion proof and meet National Electrical Code requirements for Class 1, Division 1, Groups B,C, and D. In addition, units have CSA, CENELEC, and CE approvals.
The series features the company's exclusive Capsule seat assembly, with 10-micron filtration, high load marginal spring and lateral flow passages to assure maximum performance and reliability. Seat material is Arlon (PEEK) for excellent fluid compatibility and high temperature stability. All other wetted materials are 316L stainless steel. Regulators are available with outlet pressure ranges from 0 to 15 psig through 0 to 500 psig to cover a broad range of applications requiring a positive controlled heat input.
