Upchurch Scientific 1/32" OD Teflon® FEP Tubing

Source: IDEX
FEP (Teflon) tubing is chemically inert and suitable for lower pressure applications.
  • Great for general, lower pressure microbore applications
  • Available in translucent colors
  • Also in black for light sensitive applications

FEP (Teflon) tubing is chemically inert and suitable for lower pressure applications. Pressure tests on 1/32" OD tubing show it hold from 2,500 psi (172 bar) to 4,000 psi (276 bar), depending on ID.

Since this tubing is extruded in-house at Upchurch Scientific®, we ensure quality and carefully monitor tolerances. For 1/32" OD Teflon, inner and outer diameter tolerances are ± .0005".

Upchurch Scientific color codes tubing according thru-hole diameter, making it easy to identify different solvent lines.

The black version was created for light-sensitive applications. Some uses include:

    • Entering and exiting the flow cell
    • Chemi-luminescent reactions
    • Radioactive inline HPLC
    • Light sensitive enzymatic reactions
