UltraPix 2000 is a high-resolution, next-generation cooled digital camera utilizing scan interline technology to provide spectral sensitivity in the blue region of the spectrum. The product can be used for low level light fluorescence and brightfield applications where dynamic images are required for biological and medical research.

The product is optionally integrated with a user-selectable RGB filter for color imaging. It has a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels and 12-bit depth. Eight or more images, each at different wavelength, can be captured and then displayed in the Thumbnail View gallery prior to image overlay to show colocalization of up to eight probes in multiple probe applications. Morphometric measurements and densitometric quantitative analysis can be applied to up to 100 user-defined regions of interest within a chosen image.

Other features include automatic exposure and autoscale, sub-array selection and on-chip asymmetric binning.
