Deep Well Storage Plate

ABgene®'s new design of the 2.2ml Storage Plate has 96 square wells and each well has a conical shaped bottom. This design permits easier sample retrieval and promotes sample aeration, making the plate ideal for bacterial growth applications. The plate has a standard robotic footprint for use in automated systems, an alphanumeric grid-reference and a cut-off corner for orientation. The 2.2ml plate also features support and stacking ribs. These ribs facilitate safe and secure stacking and aid centrifugal techniques such as ethanol precipitation.

This plate is ideal for enzyme assays or blood compound storage and is compatible with single, multi-channel and automated pipetting systems. With a maximum volume of 2.2ml (2.0ml when capped) this rigid, autoclavable polypropylene matrix can be sealed with a unique piercable mat for repetitive access or heat-sealed to eliminate evaporation in transportation or long term storage. The plates are cleanroom produced and free from DNase and RNase contamination. Also available bar-coded in standard formats Code 39, Code 128 and Interleaved 2 from 5. These can be customised to specific requirements.
