The placement of the drive unit, based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling, improves power input range, leading to more predictable scalability. Additionally, the system features four standard bag designs that are ready to use and support various culture processes, such as batch, fed-batch, and perfusion cell culture, providing a secure and consistent supply.
To further support scalability, the Xcellerex™ X-platform bioreactors utilize a Bioreactor Scaler tool to help determine the optimal settings for each system, ensuring accurate results from the outset. Adaptable automation is provided by the Figurate™ automation system, powered by Rockwell Automation’s PlantPAx® distributed control system (DCS), ensuring smooth operation and integration with control systems.
