Stemline® Stem Cell Culture Media
In recent years, the development of media used to expand and mature adult stem cells has greatly increased the success rate of adult stem cell therapy and the breadth of potential stem cell-based therapies. To obtain enough cells, ex vivo expansion has been utilized to ensure successful engraftment and economize the manufacture of both allogeneic and autologous therapies.
Stemline® media are designed for maximum cell expansion performance and compatibility with clinically relevant processes.
Stemline® Media is available in the following cell type formats:
- Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)
- Hematopoietic stem cells (CD34+ and 4-HC-purged CD34+)
- Neural stem cells
Stemline® XF MSC medium is a xeno-free formulation that offers supply chain security and regulatory friendliness to your clinical process. Unlike other xeno-free solutions which vary significantly in batch-to-batch performance, Stemline® XF MSC Medium supports superior, consistent expansion performance of MSCs. It has been designed for use in both planar and microcarrier culture formats and outperforms both αMEM/hPL and a top xeno-free competitor product when used for bone marrow MSC expansion on microcarriers in bench-scale bioreactors.
