The REBEL analyzer performs quantitative identification and analysis on a panel of >30 analytes including key amino acids, biogenic amines, water-soluble vitamins, and dipeptides, in approximately 7 minutes with 10 μl cell culture medium sample volume.

The REBEL analyzer performs quantitative identification and analysis on a panel of &GT30 analytes including key amino acids, biogenic amines, water-soluble vitamins, and dipeptides, in approximately 7 minutes with 10 μl cell culture medium sample volume.

Objective and methodology:

This study provides an example of method accuracy and reproducibility obtained with the REBEL when measuring analytes in complex cell culture media such as CHO and hybridoma media. The study was performed at a single 100x dilution of the media using the REBEL diluent from the Spent Media Analysis (SMA) kit. The REBEL calibrated dynamic range is 5-100 μM for all analytes. Any analyte measurements outside of this range are therefore not valid measurements. This emphasizes the importance to identify and utilize the appropriate dilution factor during sample preparation to bring metabolites into the dynamic range of the REBEL. The REBEL software automatically provides a data report (in CSV and PDF formats) and provides concentrations of each metabolite taking into consideration the dilution factor(s) used during analysis.
