Conductivity, osmolality, and glucose measurements provide valuable indicators of mixing uniformity, but they may not tell the complete story. During testing with the 500 L Thermo Scientific HyPerforma Single-Use Mixer, floating medium powder remained visible after analytical readings indicated T95 uniformity. Across liquid solutions, sinking solids, and floating powders, the mixer achieved T95 times of 12 minutes or less, while liquid-liquid salt solutions reached uniformity in under 3.8 minutes. These findings show how working volume, agitation speed, addition method, and material characteristics affect mixing outcomes.
