Gradient Performance Of The DynaChrom Single-Use Chromatography System

The Thermo Scientific DynaChrom Single-Use Chromatography System was evaluated for its gradient performance. The system, which uses modular single-use fluid transfer assemblies (FTAs), offers significant process-scale flexibility and can implement binary and tertiary gradients. The DynaChrom system was tested using FTAs of different sizes for step and linear gradient performance. Results show that the system was found to produce accurate step and linear gradients, with step gradient accuracy controllable at less than 5% error for all tested conditions. The R² values for linear regression of gradients from 10% to 90% were all above 0.99. This suggests that the system can introduce micro-efficiencies into the manufacturing workflow process, potentially leading to time and cost savings throughout the production life cycle.
