From Manufacturing Through Characterization: Simplifying EV/Exosome Research & Development
Exosomes / Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) are an emerging class of biologics that play a crucial role in cellular communication. Modern solutions are continuing to be developed to solve historic EV problems and help these biologics meet their tremendous promise. The surge in EV use has driven spikes in publications, grant funding, and technology spin-offs in both the therapeutic and diagnostic space over the past decade.
This growth has led to many questions on standardizing EV production and understanding the purity of inputs and outputs during processing. Despite emerging and evolving guidelines such as MISEV, there is no “good EV” aside from the EV that works best for you! Also of critical importance is the ability to consistently produce EVs to control results over various experiments.
