Animal-origin-free (AOF) peptone supplementation can be an economical and efficient option for viral vector-based vaccine and gene therapy bioproduct manufacturing in the fed-batch process. This study evaluates the use of AOF peptones in the production of the adenoviral vector used in vaccine delivery and gene therapy. The study found that while cell density and viability decreased post-infection, the addition of peptones led to a peak in AdV titers. Explore how AOF peptones can enhance adenoviral vector production.
