Wireless Data Corporation is an organization built on problem solving. The Company's objective is to find a need and apply its unique blend of innovation, technology, and manufacturing expertise to achieve a solution consistent with the company's dedication to quality products and responsive customer service. WDC is ISO 9001 Certified.

WDC telemetry products have satisfied an extensive range of customer applications over the past 25 years. The automotive industry test data from the rotating elements of engines, transmissions and brakes. The products are used to monitor torque and torsional vibrations in pumps, fans and large rotating shafts in steel mills, paper mills and ship propulsion systems. As an example of one of the very high performance applications, the products measure turbo fan blade stress and temperature in jet aircraft engines. Survival in that hostile rotating environment requires the products to withstand 175 degrees C. and 50,000 g's. The newer products have been used to monitor temperature on the rotating parts of large motors, torque on the drive wheels of a race car while the car is in motion, and torque on the main and tail rotor shaft of a new helicopter.

WDC transmitters are designed to connect with strain gages, accelerometers, thermocouples and other physical sensor devices. The transmitters can be enabled either by battery or induced power. WDC provides a complete line of RF receivers designed to capture the output of the miniature transmitters. The transmitters can each sample (multiplex) data from a quantity of physical sensors on the same rotating platform. WDC products require no wires, no slip rings, no rotary transformer bearings and can operate in virtually any industrial environment.

WDC does total turnkey system integration including design and production of the rotating module support ring, stationary and rotating antennas, induced power ring, installation of sensors, wiring of the system, performs calibration and spin testing and provides onsite assistance. WDC builds custom Hybrids on short runs to customer specification.
