In Q22022, ISR asked 99 outsourcers whether the company they work for uses consultants to help guide their CDMO selection process. Two-fifths (42%) of respondents confirmed the practice. The use of consultants during CDMO selection is popular at both large biopharma companies with an annual R&D of $1B+ and non-large companies with an annual R&D <$1B, (38% and 46%, respectively).
