Use Cases Of Raman PAT Platform To Enable Quality Control, Real-Time Monitoring, And Automation Across Upstream Processes

Learn more about the implementation of a Raman PAT platform and the way to accelerate the adoption of this technology as illustrated in this presentation with different use cases. Raman spectra were collected in-situ and in real time during several experiments of cell culture media preparation and cell cultures in bioreactors. Multivariate data analyzes were then performed to achieve models and finally monitor the bioprocess in real time, with the possibility to automate certain actions thanks to the process values provided by the Raman PAT platform to external controllers. In-line Raman results were validated by comparing them with off-line reference analysis.

The Raman PAT Platform can be used throughout the upstream process, from media preparation to cell culture monitoring and control, and provides a methodology to accelerate the process implementation. This tool can be used for quality control and for automation of the processes.
