Tubing Assemblies

By combining tubing and fitting capabilities, Sapphire's sister company Upchurch Scientific offers OEMs to-specification tubing assemblies and/or bundles, customized for specific instruments. Each assembly can be optimized to incorporate:

• Specific tubing materials, including a wide array of polymers as well as stainless steel or titanium
  
• Custom IDs, ODs and lengths
  
• Unique bends
  
• Fittings to meet pressure, chemical and biocompatibility requirements
  
• Labeling and/or bundling to meet your needs

Furthermore, color-coded tubing, fittings and identification sleeves makes your final assembly process quicker, easier, and more reliable. We use as many as eight standard colors for most of our tubing and fitting materials. And if those aren't enough, we can create custom colors. If needed we will also bundle the assemblies in much the same way harnesses are used to efficiently route wiring and avoid tangles. Just let us know your requirements.

Many diagnostic instrument and analytical manufacturers have come to us for custom arrays of tubing/fitting configurations of varying complexity. For example, a major diagnostic instrument manufacturer contacted Upchurch when its then-current supplier could not produce the needed range of port and tubing configurations to successfully manage intrasystem fluid flow. After close coordination with the instrument manufacturer through a series of prototypes, our assemblies met or exceeded all specifications and fit perfectly.
