CB Sciences, Inc. MacLab/PowerLab-200 and ETH-400 Transducer Amplifiers offer a solution to the problem of connecting two or more transducers to paper or computer-based recording systems. The units offer two or four channels of transducer input that power and read differentially across each transducer.
Both amplifiers have built-in filters to eliminate the effects of mains frequency (and higher) noise. They have three selctable gain ranges: x1, x10, and x100. This makes them suitable for use with recorders having amplification capability or with A/D computer boards with no gain adjustments. The offset control used to zero or position the transducer output is a ten turn potentiometer.
The input connectors are 8 pin DIN, which can be attached to existing transducers using the documentation supplied or interfaced to adaptor cables as an option. The output connectors are BNC.
