Toxicology Services

Our Toxicology Division offers a variety of procedures which can be divided into the two main categories of in vivo and in vitro testing. Since 1975, our in vivo laboratory has specialized in acute studies designed to determine the safety and/or efficacy of the various products submitted to us by the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. In the last five years, our in vitro laboratory has worked with numerous protocols and methodologies in an effort to find viable alternatives to classic safety tests. We now offer a variety of in vitro protocols which have been correlated to our existing volumes of in vivo data. Adherence to FHSA, TOSCA, CPSC, FIFRA, EPA and DOT guidelines as well as compliance to GLP and other governmental regulations are monitored by our Quality Assurance Department. Standard Federal Hazardous Substances Act and Environmental Protection Act protocols are offered.
