The Advances In Protein A Chromatography
Presented By Aaron Moulin, Field Application Specialist, Purification at Purolite
Protein A resins have significantly improved over the last 30 years in terms of capacity, productivity, and alkaline stability. However, even the most modern Protein A resins are not always amenable to newer IgG constructs that in many cases are prone to aggregation, are acid labile or otherwise sensitive to low pH.
This presentation provides an overview of Purolite's Jetted technology, process intensification via their SMART Cycling strategies and Jetted Protein A products - Jetted A50 and Jetted A50 HipH, with a particular focus on the unique properties and capabilities of Jetted A50 HipH: superior mass transfer of jetted resins, ability to elute at milder pH values and wide range of pH values for elution to open up new purification strategies.
Any scientists working on antibody purification with a mind toward new resin develops, process intensification and particularly those who work on non-traditional antibodies or antibody-like constructs can benefit from Field Application Specialist Aaron Moulin's points of discussion.
