Cell-Free RNA™ BCT is Streck's new blood collection tube for the preservation and stabilization of cell-free RNA in whole blood.

The patented preservative in Cell-Free RNA BCT preserves cell-free RNA circulating in plasma and prevents the release of cellular RNA from blood cells during sample processing and storage. Samples are stable for up to three days at ambient temperature.

Cell-Free RNA BCT is a 10ml blood collection tube packaged in sets of six and 100.

Cell-Free RNA BCT is for research use only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Streck also manufactures Cell-Free DNA™ BCT, a 10ml blood collection tube for the stabilization of cell-free plasma DNA for up to 14 days at room temperature; and Cyto-Chex® BCT, a blood collection tube that preserves peripheral blood for more than seven days for immunophenotyping by flow cytometry.
