Digital Instruments, Veeco Metrology announces a new heater accessory for its MultiMode Scanning Probe Microscopes (SPMs)
(Santa Barbara, CA) Digital Instruments, Veeco Metrology announces a new heater accessory for its MultiMode Scanning Probe Microscopes (SPMs). The heater is designed specifically for biological applications, and maintains a user-selectable sample temperature up to 50 deg C. It is compatible with the MultiMode fluid cell, allowing imaging of living cells and other samples, at controlled temperatures, expanding the MultiMode's capabilities for bioscience research.
The heater represents the first in a series of new environmental accessories for Digital Instruments MultiMode, BioScope, and Dimension 3100 SPMs. In addition to state-of-the-art instrumentation for the biosciences, DI's expert staff of biologists, lead by Dr. Irene Revenko, M.D., Ph.D., provides advanced applications support with the goal of advancing the frontiers of SPM in biology.
