Spectral Instruments Inc

Spectral Instruments Inc
Spectral Instruments was founded in 1993 in order to further developments in scientific CCD array technology and to incorporate this technology into analytical instrumentation.

Spectral first product line is the 400 Series UV Visible spectrophotometer. These fiber optic based spectrometers are used in teaching and research institutions around the country. Industry has incorporated the fiber optic CCD array spectrophotometers for use in quality assurance procedures and process monitoring. The spectrophotometers attach quickly to a wide variety of fiber optic sampling accessories for transmission, absorbance and reflectance measurements.

The Series 600 and 800 cooled CCD cameras use scientific grade CCDs for use in high performance, low light imaging applications for use in drug discovery, bioimaging and HTS technologies as well as astronomy, film digitization and streak tube testing. The different models cool down to sub-zero temperatures. The cryogenic cooled, 600 Series, cools to -100°C, and the 800 Series use thermoelectric cooling for temperatures down to -40 °C.
