MKS Spectra™ Products is dedicated to the development and manufacture of an innovative range of in-situ process monitoring instruments promoted and sold as fully-integrated, application specific packages. Spectra products include component RGAs, analytical analysis equipment, process RGAs and optical sensors. Founded in 1982 as Spectra Instruments, the company acquired UK-based Leda-Mass in April of 1997 to form Spectra International LLC. In January of 1998 Spectra International acquired NVision, an optical spectrometer company. To continue their expansion trend, Spectra Japan was formed in April, 1998. MKS Instruments, Inc. purchased Spectra International in July 2000, and formed the Spectra Products Group of MKS. Spectra Products is headquartered in Morgan Hill, CA, and has the full support of the MKS Sales and Service network worldwide.
