Vertical Transfer System For Blended Or Fragile Materials

Vertical transfer of a powder/solid product often causes degradation of the product quality. The vertical free fall introduces stress to the product that can cause an undesirable physical change to the product; the product may stratify/separate or the product may lose its granular structure, breaking down to a powder form. All of these problems cause subsequent processing difficulties.

The EZ-Down patented system transfers blended product from an IBC or Hopper into a Tablet Press or other process equipment at a gentle, controlled rate without damage, degradation or separation of the product. The product flows uniformly through a centrally located flexible, sanitary sleeve. The operation of the system is controlled by a PLC and an OIT/HMI that can be located either at the outlet of the supply hopper, or at the inlet to the next process step, typically a Tablet Press or Encapsulator.
