Glycan profiling workflows depend on clean sample prep, especially after N-linked glycan release and fluorescent labeling. In a comparison using a trastuzumab biosimilar and alpha-1 acid glycoprotein, bioZen N-Glycan Clean-Up HILIC SPE Microelution 96-Well Plates delivered labeled glycan recovery comparable to Waters GlycoWorks HILIC µElution plates within a Waters GlycoWorks RapiFluor-MS workflow. For the trastuzumab biosimilar, key glycan peak areas showed close agreement between plates, while AGP analysis used Z-value calculations to compare recovery across different sialylation levels. The results point to a practical clean-up option for labs looking to maintain performance in glycan analysis workflows while managing sample preparation costs.
