Robust, Accurate Off-Gas Analyzers Designed For Use In Culture Biosciences High-Throughput Bioreactor Facility

Culture Biosciences has developed an off-gas analysis system for bioreactors, a key tool for optimizing bioprocesses. This system integrates off-gas analyzers into each bioreactor for continuous monitoring of metabolic indicators. The system employs three digital sensors to measure O2 and CO2 concentrations, temperature, and humidity. These sensors are calibrated every 30 days to maintain accuracy. When tested, the off-gas analysis units demonstrated less than 2% relative drift for O2 sensors and less than 4% for CO2 sensors over a 40+ day period. The system was found to have a slightly faster response time than commercially available analyzers. This advancement could significantly improve cultivation processes in bioreactors.
