Precast Agarose Gels

E-Gels are bufferless, precast agarose gels that are specifically designed to provide electrophoresis. The gels are considered to be a complete electrophoresis system because agarose, electrodes, and ethidium bromide are packaged into a disposable UV-transparent cassette. A gel apparatus is not necessary because the agarose gels run in custom designed gel bases. This product ensures high resolution and consistent results through an ion generating system and a pH balancing system inside the agarose matrix. Also, the gels can be set up to run in five minutes, and electrophoresis can be achieved in 30 minutes.
