Zymed Laboratories, Inc. detection system is a polymer ‘one-step' immunohistochemical (IHC) detection method for tissue and cell preparations. It provides clean and sensitive detection of primary antibodies. The system employs a stable amino acid polymer conjugate that contains multiple HRPs and Fab fragments to provide high sensitivity. The system uses one protein-based reagent, instead of the conventional two. The system's polymer replaces the second antibody and the tertiary enzyme reagent. PicTure does not contain biotin or streptavidin and uses only Fab fragments. The kits are suitable for frozen and formalin-ficed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
