As a leading CMO powered by Pfizer, Pfizer CentreOne is embracing the evolution of pharmaceutical manufacturing by applying the principles of Pharma 5.0 to redefine excellence in sterile injectable (SI) production and accelerate the delivery of critical therapies to patients. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) continue to advance rapidly, and while these technologies are not yet implemented across all Pfizer manufacturing sites or SI lines, we are actively exploring their potential.

Our goal is to leverage AI, ML, and other digital tools wherever possible to enhance efficiency, reliability, and quality in SI production, fully aligned with Pharma 5.0 principles. Across Pfizer’s global network, we are also expanding the use of automation. While capabilities vary by site, we are integrating automated technologies where appropriate to ensure greater consistency, improve safety, and drive operational efficiency in sterile injectable manufacturing.
