Performance Of The DIANT sp2TFF System Across Different Flow Regimes

Single-pass tangential flow filtration (sp2TFF) is an effective and versatile method for buffer exchange and concentration in bioprocessing. A recent study evaluated how the DIANT sp2TFF system performs under both high- and low-flow conditions, and the results validated its robustness and flexibility. During high-flow conditions, the system effectively achieved a 10X buffer exchange with pressures remaining below 10 PSI. The ability to handle large flow rates without compromising process control or integrity makes the system a strong candidate for large-scale bioprocessing applications. In contrast, under low-flow conditions, the system achieved a 5X buffer exchange and 5X concentration with pressures below 5 PSI. The lower pressures can be especially advantageous for fragile biomolecules such as viral vectors, proteins, or nanoparticles. Read the full application note to learn more about the flexibility and robustness of the DIANT sp2TFF platform.
