Performance Of Mobius® Bag Assemblies With Ultimus® Film In Truck Shipping Simulation Test

Single-use bags provide significant advantages in bioprocessing, as they eliminate the need to clean, store, and sterilize multi-use containers. When these bags are utilized to transport solutions, like drug substances, between locations, it is critical to ensure they maintain their integrity throughout the journey for safe and efficient delivery. Transport can introduce risks, such as friction between the bag and its container or the bag folding due to movement, which may lead to leaks and costly product losses.

This application note outlines an evaluation of Mobius® single-use bags, crafted with Ultimus® film, under demanding shipping conditions. Findings from this study demonstrate that bags made with Ultimus® film are well-suited for the safe transportation of various liquid volumes while preserving their integrity.
