Nucleic Acid Labeling Kit

The Ulysis Nucleic Acid Labeling Kit allows users to attach fluorescent dyes to nucleic acids. The labeling reagent in the kit reacts with the N₇ of guanine to form a stable coordination complex in 15 minutes. DNA longer than 1,000 basepairs requires a 10-minute DNase digestion before labeling. DNase I and a protocol are included in the kit. Additionally, the kit allows users to obtain and label DNA without enzymatic incorporation of fluorescent or biotinylated nucleotides.
