Non-Lytic Cell Expression

InsectSelect is a system that has been developed for non-lytic insect cell expression and offers high protein yields of an insect system without the need for baculovirus. It eliminates the need for plaque purification and the production of a recombinant viral stock. The single vector in this system has a viral promoter for high-level expression, the Zeocin resistance gene for the rapid production of stable cell lines, and a C –terminal fusion tag for the efficient purification and detection of recombinant proteins.
