New Carrying Straps Simplify Handling Of Meissner's 16 L CryoVault® Container
Camarillo, California (July 27, 2026) ‒ Meissner has added lightweight, single-use carrying straps to its CryoVault® freeze-thaw platform, giving operators a simple, dedicated way to carry individual 16 L CryoVault® containers by hand outside the cleanroom. As a handling accessory, the straps are single-use and intended for use outside the cleanroom only.
Each strap loops through built-in holes in the container and fastens over the shroud with a hook-and-loop closure, creating a secure, comfortable grip. The two-strap system spreads a filled container's weight across both hands or two operators, making it easier and safer to carry than a single-handle design. The straps are made from polyester with an iron buckle and copper grommets, and are built to perform in cold-chain conditions.
The new straps add to Meissner's growing line of CryoVault® handling equipment, providing customers with greater flexibility to select the handling and processing solutions that best fit their freeze and thaw workflows for critical biopharmaceuticals.
