CPC Genderless Connector for High Volume, Large Flow

CPC (Colder Products Company), maker of genderless AseptiQuik® sterile connectors, introduces a one-inch option to deliver higher flow rates for highvolume, large-flow transfer lines in full-scale bioprocessing operations. The product introduction coincides with the INTERPHEX conference in New York.

The new one-inch AseptiQuik L connector is the easiest to use, large-format, genderless connector on the market.”

 A one-inch connector enables 3.5 times more flow than a 1/2-inch connector—critical performance for large-volume bioreactors. Genderless connectors simplify use, operator training, inventory management and avoid the need for adapters, which can leak or pose a contamination risk. A robust design provides reliable performance without the need for clamps, fixtures or tube welders.

 The AseptiQuik L Series’ integrated pull tabs act as protective covers, reducing complexity and ensuring simultaneous removal of both membranes. The connectors’ easy “Flip-Click-Pull” assembly process and audible “click” confirming connection also help reduce operator error.

For current AseptiQuik users, validation, specification and implementation of the AseptiQuik L connector are seamless. The new connector uses the same connection process as other AseptiQuik products. This simplifies training and standard operating procedure (SOP) development. Additionally, a data code on the connector offers easy traceability and immediate access to important product information with a quick scan. The data code connects users to product specifications, date of manufacture, validation reports and training videos.
