mVADER uses invasive clamping phosphono PNA (Peptide Nucleic Acid) technology to isolate mRNA from cells or tissue. This technology allows PNA/poly A mRNA triplexes to form independent of secondary structure between the poly A tail and 5' U rich regions. Furthermore, short poly A tailed messages are efficiently captured, which ensures a more representative mRNA population.
The kit can be used to isolate mRNA for cDNA arrays, libraries and RT-PCR. It is available in maxi, midi and a 96-well format.
