Mobius® Single-Use Assembly For High Cell Density Cryopreservation Data Sheet

Mobius® HCDC R&D assembly is a part of our BioContinuum™ Seed Train Platform designed to intensify the seed train process using the high cell density cryopreservation (HCDC) method. These single-use assemblies enables an easy and fully closed process for HCDC process filling and bioreactor inoculation reducing the risk of contamination. Bioreactors can be inoculated with cryopreserved cells frozen at -80 °C in these assemblies at a larger volume with higher cell density compared to the traditional standard, which significantly accelerates the cell expansion process, improves batch reproducibility and bioreactor flexibility.

Mobius® HCDC R&D assemblies are available in bag sizes of 100 mL and 250 mL, weldable on SU bioreactor flexware, and are compatible with both perfusion and fed-batch processes.
