The MicroCryoProbe introduces the benefits of the company's enabling and patented CryoProbe technology into small sample amount applications in biology, natural products and metabolism. There is great interest in preparing smaller test samples for NMR measurements as then less sample is used and further, less solvent is required to bring the sample volume up to the required levels.
The probes are based on cryogenically cooled receiver coils and electronics; they offer the following features:
• 3mm 500 MHz probe for 1H and 13C detection
• Deuterium lock
• Actively shielded z-gradient
• 5-fold S/N improvement over conventional probes
• Increase in throughput of ~25x
