Meissner Introduces The Single-Use Automated Aliquoting System (AAS)

AAS-Meissner

Camarillo, CA - Meissner Corporation introduces the Automated Aliquoting System (AAS), a compact, recipe-driven platform that standardizes the transfer of bulk product with high accuracy into final single-use containers of all sizes, automating one of the remaining operator-dependent steps in single-use biomanufacturing.

For biomanufacturers and CDMOs, the payoff is measured in batches, not features. With the fill governed by recipe, teams using the Automated Aliquoting System can expect enhanced repeatability and accuracy to ± 2%, regardless of operator and shift. Changeovers between container formats (e.g. biocontainers, bottles, and CryoVault® freeze/thaw containers) and batch sizes are streamlined.

The AAS is designed to support compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, employing defined access control levels, electronic signatures, and audit trails that support data integrity, traceability, and review-byexception workflows. Additionally, removing manual weighing, valve operation, and container handling reduces direct human intervention in classified areas, giving quality and manufacturing teams a documented, automated control point for their EU GMP Annex 1 Contamination Control Strategy (CCS).
