Meissner Announces New Rotary Impeller Mixing Solutions (RMS) Portfolio To Elevate Biocontainer Mixing Performance

RMS-1

Meissner is proud to announce the launch of its RMS (Rotary Impeller Mixing Solutions) portfolio, engineered to redefine reliability and performance in biocontainer mixing for bioprocessing. This innovative product line addresses the growing demand among biomanufacturers for robust, highquality mixing with the added assurance of supply chain security and dependable partnership.

Meissner’s RMS assemblies offer drop-in compatibility. The mixing assemblies are expertly designed to integrate seamlessly with industry-standard tanks and existing drive units — no additional hardware or modifications required. This means biomanufacturers can upgrade their mixing capabilities with zero workflow disruption.

RMS assemblies are manufactured from Meissner’s TepoFlex® polyethylene (PE) multi-layer film, which has an exceptionally low extractables profile for critical bioprocessing applications. TepoFlex® film contains no added slip agents, resulting in maximum process purity. The biocontainer mixing assemblies are robust, impact and tear resistant, and offer the same outstanding integrity and protection that TepoFlex® biocontainer assemblies deliver.

Meissner’s commitment to vertically integrated manufacturing provides unmatched supply chain resilience, quality control, and risk mitigation. With decades of bioprocessing expertise, Meissner’s approach goes beyond product supply. Clients benefit from collaborative partnerships, proactive risk management, and technical support tailored to individual program needs. Whether upgrading existing operations or replacing current solutions, RMS assemblies ensure seamless integration and improved process assurance.
