Founded in 1983, Jouan Incorporated was established to offer Jouan products to the North American continent. Located near our nation's capitol and many of the world's most important research centers, Jouan Incorporated has pursued a philosophy of vigorous growth based on the quality of its products and a strong commitment to the service and support of North American researchers and health care providers.

From the humble beginnings of a four man operation, to the current 100 plus employees, Jouan Incorporated employees consider themselves to be part of a growing family dedicated to providing the best products and service to our customers.

In 1996, Jouan Incorporated acquired the assets, products, and important distribution channels of Precision Scientific, www.precisionsci.com, a respected manufacturer of water baths, ovens, incubators, autoclaves and vacuum pumps, including the world famous NAPCO, www.napco2.com brand of CO2 Incubators.

This acquisition precipitated the birth of the Jouan Global Center in Winchester, Virginia. The creation of this modern, state-of-the-art 110,000 square foot Jouan Global Center incorporates engineering, manufacturing, design, sales, marketing, and service functions.
