High Yield Protein Production System For Suspension CHO Cells

CHOgro® High Yield Expression System

The CHOgro® High Yield Expression System has been developed to increase protein yields from transient gene expression in suspension Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. The system uses cell culture additives to enhance productivity and a streamlined protocol for transfection, enhancer addition, and temperature shift. The CHOgro® Titer Enhancer was identified as a key component in increasing antibody production. The system was found to be scalable, with comparable titer concentrations obtained from culture sizes ranging from 2 ml to 2 L. Comparisons with the ExpiCHO™ Expression System showed that the CHOgro® system achieved higher or comparable protein titers. It is expected to help researchers obtain gram quantities of protein, simplify their workflow, and shorten their biotherapeutic development pipeline. The CHOgro® system provides researchers with more flexibility, time-saving, and reduced risk of contamination.
