Novasep launches a new modified silica-based protein A media for capturing monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies.

AbSolute by Novasep improves mAb capture productivity by 2X to 3X compared with industry standards and remains stable with repeated alkali washing.

AbSolute is incompressible, leading to a linear relationship between back pressure and flow-rate. The combination of rigid structure and monodisperse beads allows operation at flow rates higher than 1000 cm/h.

AbSolute is easy to pack and can be used with most chromatography equipment (low, medium and high pressure columns) from lab to production scale. Its enables high performance affinity chromatography at low pressure with Hipersep®-Bio chromatography systems and Prochrom® DAC biochromatography columns.

The optimized particule size and uniform pore size distribution maintain rapid mass transfer, resulting in higher dynamic capacities over a wide range of flow rates. Furthermore, this feature combined with low pressure drop and the rigid nature of the homogeneous pore base matrix, delivers high productivity. Using AbSoluteTM allows greater flexibility in column selection, process design, optimization and bed length. With great experience in silica packing, Novasep guarantees both the scale-up and the process performance.
