GGsTop™ is a highly selective gamma-Glutamyl Transpeptidase (GGT) inhibitor.  GGT, which is also known as GTP, GPT, y-GTP, y-GT, y-GPT, y- glutamyltransferase, y-glutamyl transpeptidase or y-glutamyl peptidyltransferase (EC 2.3.2.2) is a cell membrane-bound enzyme that hydrolyzes y-glutamyl bond between Cys and Gly of glutathione (y-Glu-Cys-Gly).
