Fully-automated, multi-channel chemistry analyzer offers real-time monitoring for bacterial fermentation

Nova Biomedical Corporationw multi-channel chemistry analyzer from Nova Biomedical offers a comprehensive test menu especially intended for real-time monitoring of bacterial fermentation processes. The BioProfile 300 Automated Chemistry Analyzer offers nine measured tests, including glucose, lactate, acetate, phosphate, ammonium, glycerol, pH, sodium, and potassium, plus calculated osmolality, with measurement ranges specifically suited to bacterial cultures. The BioProfile 300 provides fully-automated operation with a 40-position sampling tray for batch processing.

The BioProfile 300 is the latest addition to the Nova BioProfile series of chemistry analyzers for cell culture and fermentation applications. Based on Nova's advanced biosensor technology, BioProfile analyzers are fully-automated, multi-channel systems designed for simultaneous, real-time analysis of key nutrients, metabolites, and gases in cell culture and fermentation media. BioProfile's comprehensive test menus allow consolidation of up to seven different instruments and measurement techniques into a single analyzer. This results in significant time and labor savings, as well as real-time process control capabilities. Optional automated, on-line sampling from up to four bioreactors allows hands-free analysis and data review, with feedback control when pre-set limits are reached.

Nova Biomedical is the world leader in biosensor technology for the measurement of metabolites, nutrients, electrolytes, and gases in complex physiological solutions. For further information, please contact Harlan Polishook at hpolishook@novabio.com .
