From Production To Characterization: Connection Solutions For Nanoparticle Workflows

Nanoparticle research, spanning AAVs, viral vectors, LNPs, and extracellular vesicles, confronts a shared obstacle: particles that are small, heterogeneous, and sensitive to upstream conditions are difficult to isolate, quantify, and characterize with confidence. Variability introduced during cell culture, hands-on sample preparation, or isolation can mask subpopulations and weaken confidence in downstream data. This brochure examines how connecting cell culture analysis, automated liquid handling, ultracentrifugation, and single-particle characterization can tighten that chain, from confirming culture health through isolating target particles to resolving size, loading state, aggregation, and heterogeneity at the individual-particle level. It also addresses how label-free analytical ultracentrifugation and automated gradient preparation fill persistent gaps left by bulk measurement and inconsistent handling.
Examine the connected workflow approach to see where consistency gains are possible across production, isolation, and characterization.
