FOSS NIRSystems Introduces New NIR Process Probe

FOSS NIRSystems is constantly developing optimized and practical sampling devices and interfaces for Near-Infrared (NIR) applications. A newly introduced probe is for non-contact measurements with the FOSS XDS Direct Light System.

Non-contact measurement provides accurate, on-line chemical analysis of solid organic products through the use of NIR diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Non-contact measurements are well-suited to measuring the composition of solids and web characteristics, such as coating thickness and degree of cure or moisture content where direct contact is not desirable or possible.
