Evaluating Different Analytical Methods Used To Quantify A Fusion Protein And Two Types Of IgG Molecules Produced In CHO Cell Line

Evaluating the best analytical method for antibody quantification is a critical step in biomanufacturing. This study provides a direct comparison between ELISA, HPLC, and RedShift Bio's HaLCon technology. Researchers analyzed a fusion protein and two different IgG1 molecules produced in a 14-day fed-batch process to determine the most effective method. The comparison focused on key performance indicators including ease of use, precision, accuracy, and overall cost.
While all methods demonstrated good precision, the HaLCon system ranked highest overall, proving to be a fast, user-friendly, and cost-effective alternative to traditional approaches. Download the poster to see a detailed breakdown of the results and statistical analysis.
