EasySep™

EasySep™ is a new and powerful immunomagnetic cell selection procedure that combines the specificity of monoclonal antibodies with the simplicity of a column-free magnetic system. Highly pure cells are obtained by positively selecting the cell of interest with antibodies to a specific cell-surface antigen. Cells, which are specifically targeted for selection, are cross linked to our new EasySep™ nanoparticles via StemCell's patented TAC technology in a standard FACS tube. The tube is then placed directly in the specially designed EasySep™ magnet. This light hand-held magnet is gently inverted to remove the cells that are not bound to the specific TAC-nanoparticle complexes. To obtain a highly pure population, the cells remaining in the tube are rinsed twice, then easily collected by removing the tube from the magnet.
