Denver Instrument Company
German immigrant, William Ainsworth, recognized the opportunity for a U.S. manufacturer and entered the market with innovative analytical balance designs. Around 1895, Ainsworth introduced the company's first short-beam analytical which significantly reduced weighing time and improved reliability. The short-beam design was also one of the first commercial uses for a new alloy known as aluminum.
Today, the Ainsworth tradition of quality and innovation continues at Denver Instrument Company. The company's vertical orientation to manufacturing ensures total quality control of its finished products as all aspects of design and manufacture are performed in the company's modern production facilities in Arvada, Colorado.
Denver Instrument's continued investment in state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and machine tools gives the company's products a distinct advantage in the world market, without sacrificing the quality of the analytical instrument.
