The Wallac UltraView LCI confocal imaging system provides high resolution images from microscope samples
The Wallac UltraView LCI confocal imaging system provides high resolution images from microscope samples. It has the capability for high speed, high performance real-time imaging for physiological applications in live cell research. It is also ideal for high resolution, high dynamic range applications including multiprobe applications requiring precision imaging.

The system has the following features:

  • 12 or 14 bits per pixel acquisition modes
  • Fast temporal data acquisition with frame transfer or interline cameras (12 or 14 bits per pixel)
  • Plot signal intensity changes against time for 100 regions of interest
  • Image overlays for multiple label work
  • Z-control support for image stacks
  • Optional digital deconvolution for additional image enhancement
  • Has a miniature, lightweight scan head and requires no complex user alignment as all optical components are pre-set during manufacturing
  • The system can be transferred easily between microscopes
  • Measured point spread function of less than 0.5 microns
  • Multi-wavelength imaging capability
  • Microlens system for improved optical throughput, lower light levels required for illumination and less photobleaching and phototoxicity
  • Real time viewing for fast focusing and set-up
  • Manual change of dichroic filters for a wide selection of dyes
  • C mount termination accepting all cameras
  • Ultra high speed image output up to 100 images per second or faster
  • Exceptionally high light throughput
  • Real time visual image observation through the occular viewing tube
  • The system can be configured with a range of digital CCD cameras
